GE Induction Cooker is compatible for 120 V, 60 cycle AC. In terms of wattage, it is a fixed one, about 1200 watts. You will find in the user manual that it is a 1300 W (you are adjusting POWER from 300W to 1300W) unit which it is sufficient for basic cooking.
GE Induction Cooker closely resembles a microwave oven as the cooking power is regulated because the time the cooker works can vary. It has a power indicator, but no power setting is provided. It is possible to observe the power indicator going down once you start increasing the temperature setting.
The frequency in the inductive coil is about 60Hz as it is a transformer that uses a shorted output for heating.

11. Cons
The heating is very uneven: if you select stew (simmer) after a few minutes the heat will go to high and burn your food
Slow to warm to boil.
There is no facility for reducing the time only increasing it by one or ten minutes
It is not powerful enough to fry steak like a gas top can
The timer is hard to use and has limited time options depending on what preset you use.
12. Consumer Ratings
With 3.9 out of 5 stars on Walmart at the time of writing this, this device gains the customer’s trust thanks to its facilities. But even so, customers are not happy because of the built up ring that will not allow a 12″ pan sit flat.
There is also a problem regarding the lack of details about the unit on the manufacturer website. Also, if you are a west coast user, be aware of the fact that the telephone support line is not opened enough!
