Here is a complete and ultramodern solution for your cooking desires and aspirations. Electrolux EI30IF40LS includes a 30-inch induction cooktop with 4 heating elements (including two that can be bridged), one area dedicated for keeping food warm (this is not inductive) and a smart oven that can be easily programmed.
The oven cleans itself so you can have it in perfect condition every time you need it, without any effort from your side. It features the unique Electrolux IQ-TouchTM controls and is easy to operate despite its sophisticated and loaded control panel. Surely you will love it from the first sight as it looks very cool.
1. Oven
Electrolux EI30IF40LS includes a 30 inches induction surface plus a modern oven, equipped with features at the highest standard. It is fast for preheating ( on regular setting it hits 350°F in just 10 minutes and on a convection setting it hits this temperature even faster, in 7 minutes). So it is 25% faster in comparison to a traditional oven preheat.
Just use convection and you will be impressed by the results. The broiler is also very fast as it hits 608°F in only 5 minutes. Just perfect.
The interior is large (24-3/8″ wide x 22-1/4 high x 19-1/8″ deep), blue and includes a rolling oven rack. The warmer drawer also includes a rack that you can use to organize numerous products.
With old-fashioned ovens, cleaning was a total drudgery, but now you can totally forget about it. This oven simply cleans itself. You have to do nothing about it. Just wait.
With the oven, you can bake, broil, convection bake, convection broil and convection roast. Complete information on how to use these cooking modes are best described in the manual, that is included in the price.
The digital controls for the oven, that the manufacturer names IQ-Touch are easy to access and to operate:

– Broil

2. Controls
These are digital and you can find them on the backsplash. The surface will remain cool so there is no need to worry that the controls are located there. However, just remember that pans already on the cooking area may be still hot.
Surface controls for the induction cooktop include:
– Bridge feature for using the two 7 inch areas
– Left front 7-inch zone
– Left rear 7-inch zone
– Warming zone
– Right rear 5-inch zone
– Right front 10-inch zone
Each zone has its own set of controls
– Power level ( low, medium/ 5, hi and Power Boost) with + and – keys to adjust it. PowerBoost is a clever setting perfect to use for boiling water very fast.
– On/ Off Button
– Timer: can be set from 1 minute to 11 hours and 59 minutes
3. Surface
The 30-inches induction surface from the top is black and smooth, with a stainless steel trim that gives it a beautiful and elegant twist, while remaining also very practical (having this trim around the surface, it will not break or be damaged so easily).
It is extremely simple to clean and in the manual from the pack there are plenty interesting information and tips that will help you a lot.
4. Heating Elements
The top induction cooktop has four heating elements, and all of them are specifically marked with a thin and clear cross.
Two of these 4 heating elements form a larger bridged area, that is very useful when you want to use cookware with big bottoms. In the rear center o the cooktop there is a radiant heat warming zone (that is not inductive) especially created to keep meals ready if someone gets late to the table.
All of the 4 heating areas can provide boost power so each of it reached a higher power in order to help you save time and energy.
Here are the 4 heating elements you can find on the range top:
a) the front left heating element is 7-inch in diameter; its power is 1.92 kW (can boost to 2.64 kW)
b) 1.92 kW (boost to 2.64 kW) – the back left heating element is also 7-inch in diameter and it has the same power like the front left one
These two heating elements form a bridged wider cooking area.
c) the front right heating element measures 10-inches in diameter – this is the largest; its power is 2.6 kW (can boost to 4.0 kW)
d) the back right heating element measures 5-inches in diameter, so it is the smallest; 0.8 kW (can boost up to 1.0 kW)
Each heating element adapts its heating power to different cookware sizes in order to offer consistent heat for perfect results.
5. Power/Watts
The maximum power reaches about 7 kW. Unfortunately, Electrolux does not clearly specifies this. The applianced provides 240 voltage and 40 Amperes.
6. Sensors
a) A magnetic sensor that will automatically detect if a pan is magnetic. So accidental turn-ons are minimized.
b) A pan size sensor that will automatically detect and adjust the induction cooking area to a pot size (for even cooking results).
7. Ventilation
The oven fan is positioned under the left side of the menu. If the oven is in function, you can see that this vent filters warm air and in this way it ensures proper air circulation for the whole appliance. Moreover, this ventilation will help baking food in the upper area. You should be careful and never block this air vent.
8. Safety Features
The cooktop features a lockout option so that the controls keys will not work when you are not around. This will highly reduce undesired accidents. However, what is very interesting is that the oven has its own safety lockout, so when you lock the cooktop controls, you can still use the oven controls and open its door.
To lock the cooktop just press and hold the bottom for just 3 seconds. The lock icon will appear on the control panel. To unlock the menu, just follow the same steps, press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds. Intuitive, isn’t it?
There are also, sone indicators that will warn you not to touch the heated area if there is still some residual heat on it.
9. Accessories
Induction cookware compatible with the top induction cooktop is not available in the pack and the manufacturer recommends heavy and flat bottoms. Compatible induction cookware types:
a) Stainless steel (solid, easy to clean)
b) Cast iron (cooks evenly; be aware that cast iron pots with rough bottom can easily scratch the ceramic surface)
c) Porcelain, both enamel or metal with a smooth bottom.
To make sure you buy compatible cookware, see if the bottom attracts a magnet.
If a pan is smaller or larger than the marked heating zone, it will not work. The same if the pan is curved or warped.
10. Dimensions
