The – 9300 ST DUXTOP UltraThin Full Glass Top Portable Sensor Touch Induction Cooktop Countertop Burner – I made it in one breath, thank you, is an induction burner that works extremely fast.
If you are like me, and chances are you are, you are mostly on the run and trying to cram as much as you can in 24 hours.
Or maybe you don’t like to waste too much time on waiting, or you’re just plain hungry, or you like how technology constantly tries to improve our lives and save our time, then this is the way to go.
Induction cooking works by the use of magnetic fields under the cooking surface, producing heat. And looking at those Maglev Japan trains that get now at a cruising speed of 600 km, the magnetic force offers us a wide array of benefits and some serious speeds where it is used.
When the cooktop first arrived I was amazed at how thin it is – 40% thinner than all previous models. It’s very lightweight, very easy to transport, doesn’t take much space, being ultrathin (I worried at first seeing it so, but it’s very robust, solid, well- built), so it is very comfortable to store it and takes under a minute to get it ready. It works way faster than any electrical ones and it’s more elegant and stylish.
With a digital control panel, you can control the build-in count-down timer up to 170 minutes. I really love this option. Usually, if I get carried away waiting for my meal to cook, I tend to forget about it. It doesn’t go well when I finally remember about it. So this comes very in handy for people with the same troubles.
It detects pans and it’s equipped with a diagnostic error message system, and for all your concerns it has a low- and high- voltage warning system, so you can cook in peace and enjoy.
The cooker is easy to clean, easy to use and very fast to cook, and it doesn’t heat the surroundings, an ability that is greatly appreciated. It comes compatible with other Duxtop products and other induction cookware, ; it just needs to be aluminum enameled iron and steel, or stainless steel with a magnetic bottom, or just plain cast iron. But be prepared; not every pan works on induction, it has to have some iron, to be compatible.
One issue that I didn’t have, but I can see it happening to others, is I only cook one course at one time. If you want more courses in the same time, it can be a bit tricky , but if you have the organizing skills you’ll manage it well.
I just finished eating my meal now – so you have to ask yourself like I did myself – how much is does your time spent on cooking dinner is worth to you and especially if you don’t have particularly free space to be taken up by appliances?
The price of the cooker now is discounted from an original price of $129.99, saving us almost 50%. I liked that, and for this amount it delivers more than expected and earns it back fast.
They ship it very fast – one-day shipping + free shipping, with a year warranty, which works great for me. I recommend it.
F.A.Q.
1. Considering the fact that Secura DUXTOP 9300 ST is ultrathin, are there problems with the surface underneath the cooktop? Does it get too hot?
As you already know, induction cooking means that the cooktop itself does not get hot except by a little heat transferred to the glass surface from the pot. This also means that the surface under the cooktop does not get hot. The only hot part is where the hot pan has heated the cooktop.
